ChestMods respects the intellectual property rights of mod creators, artists, writers, and other rights holders. If you believe material on chestmods.com infringes your copyright, email info@chestmods.com with the subject line Copyright Removal Request.
What to Include
- Your full name, organization if applicable, and contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact ChestMods URL or URLs containing the material.
- Information sufficient for us to identify the material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may ask for missing information. After receiving a complete, valid notice, we will review it and may remove or disable access to the identified material. We may also notify the person who supplied it.
Counter-Notification
If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification identifying the removed material and its former location, explaining under penalty of perjury why it should be restored, and providing your name, address, telephone number, signature, and consent to the jurisdiction required by applicable law. We may forward it to the original complainant.
Good-Faith Requests
Submitting a knowingly false or misleading complaint may have legal consequences. If the issue concerns attribution, an outdated link, or a trademark rather than copyright, explain that clearly so we can review the correct issue.
