Oh The Biomes We’ve Gone is a large world-generation mod and the successor to Oh The Biomes You’ll Go. It introduces more than 50 realistic and fantasy biomes, giving players far more varied terrain to explore without replacing Minecraft’s basic survival progression.
New Landscapes and Building Materials
The world can contain redwood forests, tropical rainforests, maple taigas, frozen woodlands, swamps, deserts, rocky valleys, flower fields, and unusual magical environments. Locations such as Skyris Vale, Enchanted Tangle, Rainbow Beach, and Pumpkin Valley provide distinct colors and scenery.
New trees, plants, flowers, stones, and natural decorations accompany these regions. Their materials can be collected and used in regular construction, providing hundreds of additional building blocks for houses, gardens, villages, and large themed projects.
Structures, Villages, and Creatures
Exploration is supported by settlements and structures designed for particular biomes. Players may encounter Forgotten, Skyris, Salem, Red Rock, Pumpkin Patch, and swamp villages, along with prairie houses, abandoned buildings, fossils, manors, and other points of interest.
The mod also introduces new creatures, food, and useful items connected to its environments. Each biome offers more than a different surface color: vegetation, resources, structures, and local details change together. Long journeys remain interesting because unfamiliar landscapes continue appearing far beyond the starting area.
