Simple Voice Chat brings direct voice communication to Minecraft without using external programs. It is designed for multiplayer worlds where nearby conversations, team coordination, and natural player interaction are important.
Proximity Chat and Private Groups
The main feature is 3D proximity voice chat. Nearby players sound louder, while voices become quieter as the distance increases. Directional audio helps you understand where someone is standing. A whisper mode is available for quieter conversations.
Players can use push-to-talk or voice activation. The V key opens a compact menu with microphone settings, speaker controls, recording options, and a microphone test. Volume can be adjusted separately for every player, which is useful when someone sounds too loud or quiet.
Password-protected group chats allow friends to speak from different locations. Players can create a group, invite others, mute the microphone, or leave the conversation through the interface. Small icons show who is speaking, whispering, muted, or disconnected.
Automatic microphone gain and noise suppression improve sound quality during busy sessions. The mod also supports audio recording with separate tracks and offers many optional addons. It works across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt, and popular server platforms.
