Hexerei brings witchcraft, magical crafting, exploration, and dark rustic decoration into Minecraft. Its mechanics are built around preparing ingredients, discovering new plants, creating useful items, and developing your own witch-themed base.
Witchcraft, Brewing, and Flying Brooms
The Mixing Cauldron is one of the central workstations. It allows you to combine different ingredients and prepare mystical items through animated recipes. The mod also provides a guide containing the information needed to understand its plants, blocks, tools, and crafting mechanics.
One of its most recognizable features is the ability to craft a broom and fly across the world. It provides a practical way to search for rare materials, biomes, and structures while fitting naturally into the witchcraft theme.
Exploration leads to the Willow Swamp, a biome filled with willow trees, flowers, and custom witch huts. Rare mahogany trees can also generate in jungle areas. These natural materials are used in recipes and provide matching blocks for building cottages, workshops, libraries, and covens.
Hexerei includes Coffers for portable item storage and Herb Jars capable of holding large quantities of plants and ingredients. This keeps the workshop organized without replacing the decorative look of the room with rows of ordinary chests.
Players can also place colored candles that gradually melt while burning. Different colors can be combined, extinguished, and displayed at several stages of use. Together with shelves, jars, wooden furniture, plants, and magical workstations, these blocks create a complete witch-style interior with useful functions.
