Occultism brings ritual magic to Minecraft, but its systems are built around preparation rather than instant spells. Players draw ritual circles, collect unusual materials, and summon spirits from another dimension. These entities are not merely decorative companions: each one can be assigned a practical task.
Summoning Spirits and Using Their Powers
The journey begins with Demon’s Dream Seeds, which can occasionally be obtained by breaking grass. Combining the seeds with a book creates the Dictionary of Spirits. This in-game guide explains rituals, ingredients, summoning conditions, and the next steps of progression.
Different spirits provide different services. Some process resources, transport items, or help automate routine work. Others can be sent to mine in a separate dimension, allowing players to obtain materials without creating a large quarry near their base. Spirit-powered automation becomes increasingly useful as more advanced rituals are unlocked.
Occultism also offers storage capable of holding enormous numbers of items while remaining accessible from a compact setup. It works especially well in developed bases where ordinary chests have become difficult to manage.
Exploration and equipment remain important throughout the mod. Players can gain the Third Eye, locate hidden groves, create enchanted tools and jewelry, and summon familiars with useful abilities. Every major feature is connected through rituals, giving the mod clear progression instead of handing out powerful rewards immediately.
